Special Interest Groups

The Special Interest Groups featured in the Youth Fit for 55 Digital Hub highlight youth networks, grassroots movements, and platforms working at the heart of climate action and environmental justice. These groups bring together young people from across Europe and beyond who are leading change in their communities, influencing policy, and finding creative solutions to today’s environmental challenges. From sustainable fashion and digital storytelling to civic participation and ecological activism, each group reflects the energy, diversity and commitment of youth shaping a greener, fairer future.

Act for tomorrow → a culture of civic and social responsibility among citizens and to educate them on how to improve their quality of life in a sustainable manner, without endangering the resources of future generations

Ambasada sustenabilitatii - The organization promotes an economic model in which companies, through partnerships, can address social and environmental issues without sacrificing economic efficiency and profit.

The Young Ecologists are the youth movement of the political ecology, attached by a statute of "autonomy in solidarity" to the party Europe Écologie - Les Verts (EÉLV).

It started as a Facebook community and not it is an environmental NGO that encourages individuals and companies to coexist in harmony with nature through trainings, information campaigns and practical workshops.

Facebook group - This group was formed with the aim of breathing new life into clothes and accessories while also safeguarding Earth's resources and combating consumerism, making whatever contribution it can, no matter how small. It has more than 55k members

Members of the TDM 2000 International- European network of youth organisations with 22 members in 18 countries.

European Youth Forum - largest European youth network of organisations. TDM 2000 International is a member.

Climatubers- Influencers for change: Participatory Video and Digital Storytelling against climate-driven inequalities. A project using the Participatory Video and Digital Storytelling to articulate narratives around environmental justice and climate change-driven inequalities.

A global, youth‑led network supported by UNESCO that empowers young people to drive climate solutions through dialogue, capacity-building initiatives, and safe spaces for engagement

GCE runs thematic working groups where young people contribute directly to EU climate policy-making and advocacy campaigns—placing youth voices at the heart of Green Deal implementation

This advisory group, established by the UN, brings together diverse youth leaders to directly advise the UN Secretary‑General on climate action priorities and ensure young voices are represented in global decision-making processes

Founded by young professionals at the World Bank Group, GYCN is a global peer network that mobilises youth-led action on climate issues through advocacy, partnerships, and capacity-building projects
